Ghaith: The occupation forces are committing a massacre in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the international community must act

The Governor of Occupied Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, warned that the Israeli occupation forces are committing a massacre against Palestinians in Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the international community to take action to stop the crimes of the occupation.

Ghaith said in today's statements that the occupation forces have been besieging thousands of Palestinians inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque for hours and attacking them with bullets, tear gas and sound bombs, and committing a massacre against them, while the world stands silent as it watches the Palestinian people being slaughtered in Jerusalem.

Ghaith pointed out that the occupation practices all forms of repression, abuse, forced displacement and ethnic cleansing throughout the Palestinian territories, especially in occupied Jerusalem, stressing that silence on the crimes of the occupation is a stigma.

Ghaith called on the international community to take urgent action to shoulder its responsibilities towards the Palestinians, to stop the occupation crimes against them, and to hold those responsible accountable.
