Four teenagers, from 14 to 16 years old, were indicted for fireworks mortar fire on Thursday against the Malraux high school in Montataire (Oise), which they admitted to having wanted to "

cause the blockade

", said Monday, May 10 the Senlis prosecutor's office.

These two college students and two high school students, educated in the establishment, were placed under judicial supervision after their indictment, for "

participation in a group formed for the preparation of violence against people or destruction or damage to property

" , and “

attempted damage by a means dangerous to people

”. One of them is also implicated for "

violence against a person entrusted with a public service mission

". These teenagers "

recognized the principle of their participation in the facts evoking having wanted to provoke the blockade of the school

", had indicated the public prosecutor Saturday.

The incident began around 10 a.m., with the setting on fire of a garbage container in front of the school, followed by a grouping on the forecourt, after which the CPE (principal education advisor) had left, according to the prosecution. Mortar fireworks were then launched against the facade of the school, including one towards the CPE, without causing injuries or damage. Only one of them is known to the courts, indicted in another procedure and awaiting trial.
