Occupation forces besiege the Old City in occupied Jerusalem

Today, the Israeli occupation forces surrounded the Old City in occupied Jerusalem and closed a number of roads and surrounding streets.

Wafa news agency reported that hundreds of occupation forces were deployed in various parts of the Old City and in the neighborhoods and roads leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque, forcing the owners of shops to close them and imposing restrictions on the movement of Palestinians to prevent them from accessing the mosque.

The agency pointed out that the settlers are calling to storm the Old City this evening, from the Al-Amoud and Hebron doors, to the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

A number of Palestinians were injured this morning as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on them in the Old City to prevent them from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque.
