Söder receives constitutional medal and receives criticism: "I don't get a medal either because I'm doing my job"
“It was always a great honor to contribute to democracy, justice and freedom in Bavaria. That encourages our commitment to our beautiful country and its people, ”wrote Söder on Twitter. “Sorry, but isn't that part of the job description as prime minister? (...) I haven't decided yet whether I find this insensitive, embarrassing or superfluous! Bayern has other problems! ”Commented one user on Söder's tweet. “I'm confused - it's a prime minister's job to adhere to the constitution, isn't it? I don't get a medal either because I'm doing my job… ”agrees another person.
“Why not erect a monument right away and name a boulevard in Munich and Nuremberg after you?
If so, because already! ”Suggests another Twitter user ironically.
“Thank you for this satirical contribution.
Especially in these days it is important not to forget to laugh, ”says another.
