Within a few weeks, however, the situation has changed to such an extent that the incidence is in second place in Germany - only in the Schleswig-Flensburg district is the incidence slightly lower at 24.4 (source: RKI, May 10).
In Passau you are now at June 24th, so the city can advance massive easing, which should apply from Wednesday, May 12th.

Mayor Jürgen Dupper (SPD) addressed the population in a video message via YouTube to announce the success and explain the new regulations: “We are experiencing eventful days.
When the incidence was below 100 for a long time on April 27th, no one could have known how quickly the situation would change for the better, ”said Dupper.
It is now under the incidence of 35 for the fifth day in a row. According to the “emergency brake regulation”, this means that a series of massive easing will come into force for the city.
