A heavy truck carrying flammable products collided with three vehicles in South Africa's KwaZulu Natal province, killing seven people and injuring more than 40, emergency services said.

Seven people were fatally injured in the accident,
" tweeted the provincial emergency services, who called on motorists to be cautious. The private hospital group Netcare, whose teams took part in the rescue, declared that "
forty-four people were injured
" and treated on the spot. The heavy truck loaded with flammable products was notably burning, as well as a bus, according to images from the
South African Broadcasting Corporation
