The maintenance workshops of the General Electricity Company of Al-Hasakah have completed the works of erecting the collapsed tension tower in the southeast of Al-Hasakah city and restoring the 66 kV voltage line feeding the simplified station to service.
The simplified station was out of service yesterday due to the collapse of a tower in the village of Al-Toushan, southeast of Al-Hasakah, after the corners and beams of the tower were stolen.
The general manager of the company, Eng. Anwar Akla, stated to the SANA reporter that the company had secured the necessary materials to re-erect the collapsed tower, as the workshops were able to repair work and restore the tension line to service in order to feed neighborhoods in the city of Hasaka.
Okla called on the people of the villages surrounding the lines of tension to preserve them and to report anyone who tries to approach them, especially since there is a shortage of raw materials for repair work.
