The Commissioner for Foreign Policy in the European Union Josep Borrell stressed today the necessity of continuing the Vienna negotiations on the nuclear agreement without stopping and trying to achieve a "breach" by returning the United States to the agreement with Iran.
The AP quoted Borrell as saying after a meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the European Union: "This remains a delicate and very intense diplomatic process, and I have the courage to say that I am optimistic," noting that the ongoing negotiations are continuing without interruption.
"There is an opportunity that will remain open for two weeks until the end of the month, but a lot of work needs to be done and time is limited," Borrell added.
