The people of Daraa affirmed that participating in the presidential elections on the twenty-sixth of this May enhances Syria's strength, steadfastness, and its adherence to its independent decision.
In statements to SANA correspondent, the head of the Bar Association branch in Daraa, Maher al-Miqdad, said, “The presidential elections come at a time when Syria shakes off the dust of war to tell the world that the Syrians are the ones making their own future,” stressing that participation is a national duty to send a message to the world that the Syrian people are always victorious and will remain Syria is tall and resilient to the aggressors.
Lawyer Khaled Al-Khatim stated that participating in the presidential elections is evidence of Syrian power, and it is a right enshrined in the constitution, while lawyer Basem Khidhir noted the need to participate in the elections to preserve national unity and prevent any external interference in Syrian decision-making.
Lawyer Muhammad al-Tahan said, “Participation is a national right and duty and an affirmation of Syria’s steadfastness and adherence to its independent decision.” While lawyer Yahya Al-Soudi stressed that participating in the elections is a constitutional, legal and national duty and that the Syrian people are the only ones who decide their future and choose their leadership freely, while lawyer Hani Al-Zoubi believes that participation in the elections A message to the world that the Syrian people have triumphed over their enemies, calling on everyone to participate massively in this event.
Ayham Al-Mestarihi explained that participation in the elections will contribute to the completion of the process of construction and reconstruction, stressing the need for broad participation in them.
Young Muhammad Hawari pointed out the need to actively participate in the presidential elections to say our word through the ballot box and respond to all attempts to disrupt the West, while Saeed Shehadhat indicated that he would participate in support of the stability and reconstruction of Syria in the hands of its people.
