Today, the World Health Organization called on major countries not to vaccinate their children and boys against the Corona virus and to donate vaccines to the Kovacs platform with the aim of redistributing them to poor countries that need them.
The French Press Agency quoted the director of the organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, as warning in the context of a press conference today that “the second year of the spread of the Corona epidemic will be much more deadly than the first year,” adding that he asks countries wishing to vaccinate children to consider abandoning that and giving vaccines to Kovacs, namely The international platform established by the organization to ensure that vaccines reach countries fairly, especially after some major countries pledged to vaccinate the majority of their people by this summer.
The Director of the World Health Organization warned that many countries are still witnessing record outbreaks of infection, such as India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and some countries of the Latin American continent.
And the chief scientist at the organization, Sumiya Swaminatan, confirmed yesterday that victory over the Corona epidemic requires equality in providing basic vaccines and making them accessible to everyone.
