Greece has launched its tourism season for the current year and has lifted most of the remaining restrictions on the movement of residents and tourism, which it had previously imposed due to the Corona pandemic.
"The BBC" quoted Greek Tourism Minister Harris Theoharis as saying today: "We will open the tourism industry to the world."
Under the new announcement, a Greek resident will no longer be forced to send text messages to a hotline when leaving the house or going shopping. The new announcement also allows movement between regions and regions.
A fifth of the Greek economy depends on the tourism sector, and this sector absorbs 20 percent of the workforce.
