Miesbach - Veronika Mader's part two of the Sat.1 series “The Big Baking - The Profis” continues this weekend.
The 25-year-old master confectioner from Miesbach has to face new tasks together with her partner Alexander Scheid from Landau in the Palatinate.
And they have it all again.
So much can be revealed: This time there is a surprise challenge and a small live plating trip around the world - moderated by Enie van de Meiklokjes.
In the opening broadcast last week, the Miesbacher and her partner made it to second place and not only showed the jury - consisting of Bettina Schliephake-Burchardt, Christian Hümbs and Günther Koerffer - that she can keep up with this competition.
The pastry chef will also watch the episode on TV this Sunday - just like last week at her TV premiere.
“It was also new to me because we didn't know how the episodes were edited and presented,” says Veronika Mader.
In any case, the feedback from her circle of friends and acquaintances was very positive - also because she came across as very authentic.
On this Sunday (5:40 p.m.) four of the remaining five teams are about to make it to the semi-finals.
She had a lot of respect in front of the renowned jury.
“Above all, I wasn't used to looking over my shoulder, but you get used to it.” And that is part of receiving criticism.
This Sunday will show whether it will be enough for the semi-finals.
