Summary.
On May 11, 2021, the Assize Court of Savoy sentences Nordahl Lelandais to 20 years imprisonment for the murder of Arthur Noyer.
"I never wanted to kill [him]," he repeated, pleading a fight that would have gone wrong, that night of April 11 to 12, 2017 in Chambéry.
At the end of seven days of hearing, there are still gray areas on the exact circumstances of the death of the young corporal and on the personality of his murderer.
The former dog handler will be brought to justice again in 2022, for the alleged assassination of Maëlys de Araujo, often mentioned during this trial.
Pascale Egré and Louise Colcombet, from the Parisian police justice service, followed the trial and recount it in two episodes for Code source.
