The outgoing president of the PACA region presents a list for the regional ones which he defines as “an addition of skills”.

The outgoing president of the PACA region, Renaud Muselier, presented this Friday his lists for the regional elections which will take place on June 20 and 27. The former deputy mayor of Marseille has of course integrated the heavyweights of his region, the mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi and that of Toulon Hubert Falco, but also or people from "civil society". This list has the air of a Spanish hostel on the right of the political spectrum, with no less than nine different political tendencies. "Including some from the presidential majority

,

" he detailed in a press conference reported by Nice-Matin.

According to this historical figure of LR in the region, these lists are a gathering of “the best”, an “addition of skills” of people who “want to serve their fellow citizens”. On these, he announced “1/3 of outgoing elected officials, 1/3 of new candidates and 1/3 of candidates coming from civil society”. "Of the 135 names on the list, we will find 15 people from the presidential majority, including the four elected outgoing Modem, the others all being local elected officials," said Renaud Muselier, also reporting members of La République en Marche (seven) and Agir, also partners of the majority.

Among the majority candidates are Bertrand Mas-Fraissinet, LREM referent of Bouches-du-Rhône and Graig Monetti, chief of staff of the Minister of Higher Education Frédéric Vidal, but not in an eligible position.

Of course Sophie Cluzel, who was initially supposed to present the LREM list in the region, does not appear there, after the announcement of the withdrawal from the list of the presidential majority.

I say it very calmly: those who compromise themselves today by calling not to vote for me are irresponsible.

They in fact support the National Rally and question the red line set at the foundation of the RPR, the UMP and the Republicans.

The objective is still to block the RN and the list led by Thierry Mariani in the region.

“I say it with great calm: those who compromise themselves today by calling not to vote for me are irresponsible.

They are in fact supporting the National Rally and questioning the red line set at the founding of the RPR, the UMP and the Republicans, ”said Renaud Muselier at a press conference and on Twitter.

Still supported by LR, he considers presenting an “opening” list.

“Hubert Falco recalls it with great wisdom: in 2007, the first government of Nicolas Sarkozy and François Fillon was made up of Martin Hirsch, Eric Besson, Bernard Kouchner, Fadela Amara… They were not, as far as I know , inserted in the UMP at the time!

», Added Renaud Muselier to support his tactical choice.

who has also withdrawn from Renaud Muselier's campaign in PACA.

At the beginning of May, the hand extended by the latter to the presidential majority had been seized by Prime Minister Jean Castex, who had announced the withdrawal from the Cluzel list by evoking a "political recomposition", causing a real psychodrama within the Republicans.
