The Patriarch of Antioch and the rest of the East of the Melkite Roman Catholic Yusef al-Absi strongly condemned today the criminality and murder committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in light of international and international silence.
In a statement published by his office in Beirut today, Patriarch Al-Absi stressed that it is totally unacceptable to be silent about what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories in terms of displacement and massacres that do not provide for women, children and the elderly, stressing that this international silence on the criminality of the Israeli occupation raises suspicion and exposes the entire region to great dangers. .
"The major countries and the international community must intervene quickly to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation, confront the escalating acts of killing and destruction in the occupied territories, and put an end to the ongoing crimes against humanity," the statement said.
The number of victims of the continuous Israeli aggression for the fifth day on the besieged Gaza Strip rose to 121 Palestinian martyrs, including 31 children, in addition to the wounding of more than 800.
