A fire broke out around 6 am, this Friday, May 14, in the apartment on the second floor of a building, located 4, allée Hansi, in Rosny-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis).

The incident made a victim "seriously burned" and considered "in a state of absolute emergency" by the doctors, as well as three minor injuries.

About forty firefighters were mobilized on the spot.

The fire could be "easily controlled", then quickly extinguished "with a single water hose" by the Paris fire brigade.

For now, the origin of the fire has not yet been identified.

"The judicial identification has only just left the premises", indicates the entourage of the mayor, present on the spot.

The four victims were all quickly hospitalized.

"Among them, there are two brothers, including a minor who jumped out of the second floor window to escape the flames," says the town hall.

But it is the second older brother who is currently in a state of absolute emergency.

In total, three units in the four-storey building were damaged. The family from the apartment where the fire broke will be relocated to the city's emergency accommodation, located "in the immediate vicinity". The lessor Seine-Saint-Denis Habitat will be responsible for temporarily relocating the other two affected households.
