Nuremberg - In the southern part of the city, a 24-year-old man damaged numerous parked cars on Thursday evening (May 13).

The police were able to arrest the rioter on site, as stated in a press release from the Central Franconian police headquarters *. 

At around 10:45 p.m., a witness observed the man as he kicked the exterior mirrors of several parked vehicles on Kleestrasse.

A short time later, the operations center received another message with the same description of the person from the shopping street where the man ran over vehicles parked there.

Several patrols then drove to the named locations and were finally able to arrest the 24-year-old culprit.

The officers found more than 20 damaged vehicles and left messages asking them to report to the police.

The damage to property cannot yet be assessed.

The officers of the police inspection in Nuremberg * took the young man into custody and brought him to the office. A blood sample was taken there by order of the public prosecutor's office. The police asks the owners of the damaged vehicles in the vicinity of Kleestrasse to contact the Nuremberg-South police station on (0911) 9481-0.
