A southerly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong.
At 5 o'clock in the morning, the tropical depression in the sea east of the Philippines gathered about 1,020 kilometers southeast of Manila and is expected to move west-northwest at a speed of about 22 kilometers per hour across the southern Philippines.
The Observatory predicts that the local area will be generally cloudy today with a few showers.
Sunny and hot during part of the day, the highest temperature in the urban area is about 32 degrees, and another one or two degrees higher in the New Territories.

According to the Transport Department, due to urgent maintenance of water mains, part of the traffic lanes of Sai Sha Road (towards Ma On Shan MTR Station) near Kam Ying Road and the slow lane of Kam Ying Road (towards Sai Sha Road) near Sai Sha Road were closed.
