Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif called for an end to the continuous Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Fars News Agency reported that Zarif reviewed with Spanish Foreign Minister Arancha Gonzalez Laya in Madrid the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Zarif also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Spain in various economic fields and to overcome obstacles that obstruct that.
For her part, Gonzalez Laya stressed during the meeting that Iran plays a pivotal role in the region, reviewing Madrid's positions on various issues, including the nuclear agreement, regional affairs and bilateral issues.
