14 people were killed in a traffic accident in Al-Muthanna Governorate, southern Iraq.
The Civil Defense Directorate said in a statement carried by Alsumaria News today that a car collided with a passenger bus on the international highway in Al-Muthanna Governorate last night, noting that the civil defense teams were able to rescue 3 citizens and recover 14 charred bodies and extinguish a fire that broke out as a result of the accident.
