At 10:19 am today (15th), the police received a report stating that a cargo warehouse in Dinosaur Pit, Ping Che Road, Ta Kwu Ling was broken into by culprits, and two employees were tied up and electronic parts were stolen.
Sources at the scene stated that the incident occurred at about 6 o'clock this morning when four male culprits rushed into the warehouse and tied up two male staff who claimed to be staying at the upper site.
The culprits snatched a batch of second-hand electronic parts worth about 2 million yuan at the site, and used a knife to scare the male staff.
Police officers arrived at the scene. A male staff member of about 30 years old suffered redness and swelling on his hands. Another man suffered injuries to his face and hands. Both were conscious. The officers were searching and investigating the scene.
At about 1 pm, a large number of police officers remained in the warehouse to investigate, and the forensic department personnel also came to assist in the search for evidence, and the border crime team took over the investigation.
At the scene, a pile of electronic products and parts were placed in the open area of the warehouse, and the police seized evidence such as adhesive tape and gloves.
