During the operation, the FEHD arrested one person and commenced prosecution proceedings on suspicion of operating an unlicensed restaurant in a barbecue site. And seized related tools and a total of 38 kilograms of barbecued food.

In recent months, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has repeatedly cracked down on the barbecue site at Jiu Hua Keng. The last time it took a joint action with the police on March 26, two people were arrested for operating an unlicensed restaurant in two barbecue sites, and one of them violated at the same time. The defendant who violated the two crimes was found guilty in the Longcheng Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (12th) and was sentenced to a fine of 30,000 yuan and four weeks in prison for operating an unlicensed restaurant and violating a gathering restriction order, as well as a fine of 10,000 yuan and imprisonment for 4 weeks. week.
