Miesbach - Despite the high incidence in the district: The city of Miesbach is sticking to its planned test center at Gasthof Bräuwirt.

On Friday, those involved met at the back entrance of the city's own inn for the starting signal.

As reported, the new test center should make access to rapid tests as easy as possible.

This is ensured by the central location on the market square with parking spaces in the immediate vicinity as well as the opening times, which are based on those of the surrounding shops.

The trigger for this solution was the idea on the part of TEV Miesbach to set up a test station in the ice rink.

In the subsequent discussions, however, according to Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller, it turned out that the Bräuwirt's hall was actually the ideal solution.

"It is generally centrally located and also offers our business people the most uncomplicated solution imaginable," says the town hall chief.

Open on weekdays at regular times

The big step, however, is the uniform opening times.

So far, the bee pharmacy, the Spitzweg pharmacy, which has previously used the hall alone, and the Alte Stadtapotheke have tested Monday to Friday mornings and three afternoons that have been divided among each other.

It is now open on weekdays at fixed times, always in the same place.

And they look like this: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. - parallel to the opening times of the shops.

Ideally, you should register in advance on reihentestung.de the first time - this saves time on site, so that the test can be completed within two or three minutes.

The result is sent to the cell phone by email.

Anyone who does not have Internet access can also be tested without an appointment - then registration takes a little longer.

It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance, but it is possible to reserve an appointment if you do not want to risk waiting.

Minimal effort now

"The new offer reduces the effort involved in testing to a minimum," says Florian Brunner, Chairman of the Miesbach Community Advertising Association.

“That helps the business a lot.” Mayor Braunmiller emphasized that the city was happy to comply with the wishes of business people: “It's our job to help with the framework conditions as well as possible.”

Fritz Grasberger, owner of the city pharmacy, also sees a clear improvement: “With the daily fixed opening times and the fixed location, we are bundling our strengths.

The test center is centrally located and can be easily reached from the market square as well as from the town square and Habererplatz via the Lebzelterberg access. ”However, the offerings that the individual pharmacies had with them were omitted.

Also opening on Sundays and public holidays planned

There are also plans to open the test center on Sundays and public holidays, if the catering trade is allowed to reopen.

Then the readiness of the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) supports the test center.

"For the pharmacies, this time would no longer be manageable," says supply doctor Dr.

Florian Meier, who is also involved in the planning.

The doctor sees the new offer as the optimal solution.

"It's really straightforward."

Especially since in addition to the general practitioners in the practices, testing continues on the premises of the breeding association.

As reported, the BRK has set up a test track for PCR tests carried out by doctors there.

You can also have quick tests taken there.

This area is operated by the Deutsche Lebensrettungsgesellschaft (DLRG) Gmund and Tegernsee.

From the point of view of the initiators, the test center should not diminish the fact that the incidence in the district is now over 150, which means that from Monday “Click & Collect” will apply again instead of shopping with “Click & Meet”, as Braunmiller stated in a representative way: “ The incidence will also go down again.

So it's a good improvement in the long run. "
