Syrian novelists who carried the concerns of the homeland through their fictional works and in which they monitored the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of the terrorist war and its consequences, embodied through their characters and heroes an important part of the components of society in Syria, and described the upcoming presidential elections as an indication of the Syrians' ability to overcome the effects of war and a natural response to the state's respect for its constitution.

Novelist Dr. Sbeit Suleiman said in a statement to SANA, "Elections are a constitutional right in the Syrian Arab Republic, and holding them on time is evidence of the independence of our country through its sovereignty, which ten years of terrorism has not been able to undermine or undermine its entity and constitution."

Suleiman, who won second place in the novelist creativity competition 2020, expressed her hope that the participation will be wide despite all the campaigns launched by the opponents from abroad who aim to distort these elections for political purposes, confirming that everything they do is outside the Syrian intellectual and cultural system and that the Syrian people have been able to He is aware of the crisis and is getting out of it. Therefore, according to her opinion, he will participate on a large scale, defying all these campaigns.

Novelist Suhail al-Dhib, who published three novels during the years of the war, spoke about the painful chapters of the war, stating that it is natural for any state that respects itself, its sovereignty and its citizens to adhere to its constitution, and this expresses the most glorious aspects of civilization and civilization, and it must take place despite all circumstances.

The novelist pointed out the importance of popular participation in voting in elections because it is a right under the constitution for every Syrian inside and outside the country, and it is necessary for him to express his belonging to the country through the exercise of this right.

Novelist Hussein Abdel Karim, the owner of a diverse literary product, saw that the constitutional process on time is a clear expression of the meanings of advancement and civilization, the exercise of freedom of opinion and democracy in a country that has survived all these years and an affirmation of the entitlement and beauty of life and the ability of the people to choose their leadership.
