The long-promised noise protection is currently being built on the B 472 for the residents of Sonnleitenstrasse.
In the Tölz building committee meeting, however, there was now bad news.
Bad Tölz - When the Tölz southern bypass was built in the 1980s, the residents of Sonnleitenstrasse were promised that they would receive noise protection.
This was neglected for decades and, according to the decision of the Tölz building committee, will now be done three decades later in November.
The residents had submitted a corresponding application.
Building authority manager explains cost increases with higher construction prices
The renovation of the existing wall and the new noise protection wall (we reported) were estimated to cost 120,000 euros.
At the most recent meeting of the Finance Committee, it was suggested that this figure cannot be maintained.
"Strongly increased building prices and higher planning costs", says building authority manager Christian Fürstberger, would lead to an increase of 40,000 euros.
Karsten Bauer and Anton Mayer (both CSU) did not really want to understand why the estimate was so wrong.
Fürstberger tried to explain it: The site required many different noise protection and more retaining wall elements.
In the tendering process, the cheapest bidders offered the work for almost 24,000 euros more than estimated.
The planning costs of SSF Ingenieure AG also rose from 20,000 to 26,000 euros.
The finance committee unanimously agreed.
