The 75-year-old Rosemarie Ellent actually lives in the BRK nursing home in Murnau.
But there she disappeared on Friday.
A large-scale search around the house and in the surrounding area was unsuccessful.
Now the Murnau police are addressing the population.
She hopes the woman has seen someone and can give clues as to where she is.
