Johannesburg-SANA The Republic of South Africa confirmed that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and occupied Jerusalem is ongoing

Johannesburg - SANA

The Republic of South Africa affirmed that the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and occupied Jerusalem requires an urgent call for the intervention of the international community and to transfer the serious violations committed by the occupation authorities to the International Criminal Court for Crimes Against Humanity.

In a statement published on the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation website, the South African government condemned the continuous escalation of the Israeli occupation’s attacks on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, stressing that “targeting the weakest segment of Palestinian society, including children, women and the elderly is unjust and shameful.”

The statement called on the Israeli occupation entity to immediately stop all illegal displacement operations it is carrying out against Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, indicating that the occupation authorities continue their unjust attacks on the Palestinians and refuse to stop them.

Many countries of the world are witnessing demonstrations condemning the crimes of the Israeli occupation and in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the crimes and violations they are exposed to.
