The Palestinian presidency renewed its demand from the international community, foremost of which is the Security Council, to provide international protection for the Palestinian people who are exposed to brutal Israeli aggression, and to pressure the occupation authorities to stop it immediately.
In a statement today, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Nakba, which coincides with the fifteenth of May of each year, the Presidency confirmed that the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people have been going on for 73 years, stressing that the silence of the international community gives the occupation a green light to continue the aggression, displacement, destruction of property and displacement of Palestinians.
The Presidency condemned the crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, the most recent of which was the heinous crime committed by the occupation at dawn on the day of the Nakba, and an entire family died as a result of the bombing of their house in the Shati refugee camp in the west of the Strip, pointing out that the international community cannot remain silent on the crimes of the occupation and that the time has come. To work hard to end the occupation and implement international legitimacy decisions.
