The time for recovery has come with the new deconfinement leading to the reopening of establishments that have been closed for months. On the marc

“The health crisis is unfortunately not yet behind us.

However, the latest government announcements as well as the results of the latest workforce needs survey (BMO) for 2021 show recruitment needs and great opportunities for job seekers in Seine-et-Marne. », Announces Caroline Bacchini, territorial director of Pôle emploi in the department, who analyzes, for Le Parisien, the responses of 7112 establishments in Seine-et-Marne expressing the expectations and the difficulties encountered by employers in recruiting.

The unemployment rate in Seine-et-Marne, which had fallen to 6.1% at the end of June 2020, thanks to the short-time working measures put in place urgently at the start of the health crisis, reached 7.9% at the end of September before ending the year at 7.1%.

The number of job seekers in category A (without any activity) increased by 13.2% in one year.

In its survey, Pôle emploi identified 39,155 recruitment projects this year against 34,753 in 2019 (+ 12.7%).

“This shows that companies have real needs and intentions to recruit.

Seine-et-Marne represents 8.2% of regional hiring intentions.

64% of Ile-de-France employers plan to recruit for sustainable jobs, ”she notes.

Virtual fair to recruit home helpers

The jobs most sought after by recruiters are unchanged from previous years.

Thus, for its opening in Pontault-Combault, Brico Dépôt recruited more than 70 candidates.

Among the jobs in tension, that is to say those most associated with recruitment difficulties, we find home helpers, domestic workers and nurses.

An online fair related to personal service jobs is organized by the Meaux agency, from Monday 17 to Saturday 29 May, for home help positions, man / woman maintenance (50 positions to be filled ).

On the same dates, the La Ferté-sous-Jouarre and Coulommiers agencies are organizing an apprenticeship fair with more than 15 positions available in construction, catering, green spaces, food and non-food sales.

What are the future hiring opportunities?

As for the sectors concerned by the intentions to recruit, "we find the key sectors of Seine-et-Marne, namely services (57.1%) and commerce (21.7%)", indicates Caroline Bacchini.

“But it is in the construction sector that the share of recruitment projects deemed difficult is highest at 49.1%.

Next comes the service sector with 43.3%.

And trade only 29.2%.

"

For the boss of Pôle emploi in the 77, this is not the time to be discouraged, on the contrary.

“There are jobs to be grabbed now,” she announces with optimism and reason.

“A little over 12,000 job offers are currently available in Seine-et-Marne on the Pole-emploi.fr site which also presents offers from partner sites.

In particular, there are trades linked to service activities, health, construction, commerce, hotel and catering, transport and logistics.

The latter, whose number has jumped by 18% in one year, have 27 advisers dedicated to their support.

The 12 jobs mainly sought by recruiters, according to Pôle emploi:
