The huge riots in the mixed cities are still taking place, the intensity of the damage will probably be estimated, but for now it seems that most of the damage has been suffered by Jewish and non-Muslim religious institutions.
Data from the Central District of Fire and Rescue show that from Tuesday until now, ten synagogues and government institutions in the city of Lod have been set on fire.
No mosque was reported set on fire, however.
The data also show that in 28 of the mosques, accumulations of stones and Molotov cocktails were prepared, while in 22 Muslim prayer houses, enthusiasts prayed to go out to riot.
However, when it comes to property offenses, Jewish involvement does seem to exist, but the violence by Arab rioters is immeasurably greater: 112 Jewish homes have so far been burned in riots, compared to one home of an Arab family in Jaffa, which turned out to have been burned by Arabs.
No looted Arab homes have been reported so far while 386 looted Jewish homes have been reported.
