A solid argument with assault broke out on Friday lunchtime on Geretsrieder Karl-Lederer-Platz.
Geretsried - Around 1 p.m., a 17-year-old Geretsrieder was knocked to the ground by three previously unknown perpetrators when he tried to arbitrate an obvious dispute between the three and a 19-year-old Geretsrieder.
According to the police, the 17-year-old was held on the ground by the strangers, slapped in the face and kicked in the upper body.
When two other witnesses also intervened, the strangers fled.
According to the current status of the investigation, the trigger for the dispute between the 19-year-old and the trio is related to a threat: The day before, Geretsrieder had been threatened with a knife and words by one of the unknown perpetrators.
The 17-year-old arbiter was slightly injured as a result of the kicks and blows.
Witnesses to the two incidents are urged to report to the Geretsried police station on 0 8171/93510.
