Covid-19: the number of patients in "critical care" continues to decline

Critical care services (which bring together resuscitation, intensive care and continuous monitoring) now number 4,255 patients with Covid 19, against 4,271 patients the day before.

This is the 13th day in a row that this figure has fallen.

The disease has killed 81 people in hospital in the past 24 hours (up from 112 on Saturday).
