Days go by and the mystery is getting bigger.

It is still not known who the two women were suspected of murdering Adrián Enrique Muñoz (74) with 22 stab wounds in his department of Núñez.

A clue led the investigators to the Buenos Aires suburbs.

The Homicide Division of the City and Buenos Aires Police carried out two raids in La Matanza to find the women, whose identity is unknown.

In neither of the two operations they found them, but the investigation continues under absolute secrecy, according to

Télam

.

In addition to the names and ages, the other unknown in the case is what relationship the two suspicions had with the victim.

One of the indications that has not yet been confirmed is that it could have been

a case of "black widows"

.

Adrián Enrique Muñoz (74) was assassinated in his department of Núñez.

Muñoz was a player and former tennis teacher.

He had three children and since the death of his wife, eight years ago, he had moved to that neighborhood to be closer to Club Atlético River Plate, where he played in the veterans category.

His body was found naked in his second-floor apartment "A" in Ciudad de la Paz 3397, on Wednesday.

He was face down on the floor of the room and had

two knives stuck in his back

.

The one who found him was one of his daughters, Fernanda (50), who went with the keys to see what happened that her father did not answer the calls to him or her brother.

The woman called the Police and the place were officers from the Neighborhood Police Station 13B.

The autopsy determined that Muñoz

received 22 puncture wounds and bled to death

.

Thanks to the building's security cameras, investigators discovered that on Monday the man had arrived accompanied by two women, who later left alone.

His cell phone, money and some valuables were missing from the victim's house.

These indications, added to the fact that Muñoz used to bring to his apartment women with whom he had occasional relationships, according to his own daughter, is what makes one think about a case of "black widows."

The case is investigated by the prosecutor José María Campagnoli, from the Saavedra-Núñez District Prosecutor's Office and by detectives from the Homicide Division of the City Police.

With the data collected so far, the prosecutor ordered the two raids in La Matanza, in which the Buenos Aires Police collaborated.

For now, there are no traces of the two women and the mystery grows.

Two knives

"The two knives belonged to the victim's house," confided one of the consulted investigators.

In the morgue, the two weapons were preserved: they are looking for traces of

DNA

or

fingerprints

.

The prosecutor Campagnoli also awaited the report of the experts who worked at the crime scene, to see if there is any other trace or

evidence

that identifies the suspects.

Meanwhile, they are trying to confirm with the family if things are missing from the victim's apartment to determine if it was a

homicide on the occasion of robbery

or if the mobile is linked to some other

personal matter

.

Adrián Enrique Muñoz was 74 years old and a tennis player.

He was assassinated in his apartment in Núñez between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

"At the moment we know that they took

the victim's cell

phone

, some

money

and other objects," said a judicial spokesman.

Another piece of information that is being checked is whether Muñoz used some type of social network, application or website to make

appointments

.

Witnesses

For now,

three neighbors are the key

.

One told the police that on Monday, around 7:30 p.m., he saw Muñoz enter the building with two women.

What's more, he gave his descriptions and the investigators already have

video

from a security camera on the block with the sequence of how they got to the building.

A second witness reported that, around 10:30 p.m., he heard

noises

coming from the 2nd "A" but that he did not pay much attention to it because then he heard the bathroom shower opening.

While a third neighbor said that a relative of his on Tuesday, around 2:30 p.m., saw two women leaving the building with

suitcases

: it caught his attention because he did not know them as neighbors or as relatives of any of the owners.

Based on these testimonies, the prosecutor and homicide detectives believe that the crime occurred during the night of Monday, and they were looking for and analyzing security camera videos of businesses and houses in the area: they are looking for a

clear image of the suspects

.

"We already have videos of a local on the block where the arrival of the victim with the two women is seen. And that those same women leave the building at night and alone. But we are still looking for more images that will help us to identify the suspects, "said one of the police investigators.

They also try to

corroborate

with the videos if those women are the ones that the witness mentioned that he saw leaving with the suitcases.
