Klara Greinwald writes (see right) that the opinion on the pages of letters to the editor on gender-sensitive language is very one-sided.
I can agree with her, because as far as I can remember her letter to the editor is only the second this year to support gender, all other readers - the vast majority - who wrote to us reject it.
However, this is not due to the selection we have made (we have published almost all of the communications to this debate, unless there were other reasons against it), but rather to the majority opinion of our readers, including that of our readers.
One or the other colleague in the editorial office will probably endorse genders.
The editorial team is not a monolithic block of opinion.
