First look: "She's in a relationship, I know it, but that doesn't stop me"

The white light of this sunless morning of January 6, 2006 does not really brighten up the meeting room of the company specializing in real estate tax exemption.

Several new employees gathered there for their first day in the company.

Including Olivier and Julie.

“We were very focused, sitting around the table in our beautiful costumes when a group of women entered.

I was with my back to the door, and suddenly I see Julie, remembers the 29-year-old former consultant.

It was brief and stealthy, but I feel like we really caught one glance.

I taped on his blue eyes.

It was pretty clear and crystal clear to me.

I knew something was going on.

I was attracted to her ”.

Julie also remembers that first day and that famous meeting: “We didn't talk to each other, I didn't even see him”.

The box has about fifty employees.

There are many opportunities to talk to each other.

I quickly understood that he had spotted me, ”smiles Julie.

“I watched her walk past my office every day,” Olivier clutches.

I pretended not to know how to change the paper on the photocopier or other Sioux tricks to talk to him.

I have always caused the situations in my life to quit, to make money out of them.

But I can tell there's something going on.

She's in a relationship, I know, but that doesn't stop me ”.

Julie has lived with her partner for 11 years in the apartment they bought.

"I wasn't looking for a new darling at all and for me, with Olivier, it was first and foremost friendship," she smiles.

We had drinks when we left the office, we went rollerblading together, we went to concerts, everything was spontaneous and natural.

We laugh a lot.

I introduce my boyfriend to her.

I do not ask the question of how I look at him.

But when he leaves for four weeks in the summer in Madagascar, I understand that I miss him.

Not very normal for someone who is supposed to be just a friend… ”

The little band continues the evening in a nightclub.

“I take advantage of the dance floor to get closer to her.

And we kiss, reveals Olivier.

At 6 or 7 in the morning, we go out to have breakfast together in a cafe.

I know very well that I am living the beginning of a great story ”.

For Julie, the decision is made.

Two weeks after this evening, she moved.

“I found Olivier very sensitive and attentive.

We laughed at the same things.

Very quickly, I felt that he was more interested in me than in a passing girl.

My friends and family did not understand why I was ending a long relationship for a shaky story when we were talking about starting a family.

It was a funny time with a new love story set against a background of breakup.

Alone, I cried, and as soon as I saw Olivier I was fine.

With him, everything seemed simple and obvious to me ”.

“The planets aligned quickly and we quickly moved in together, our daughter was 18 months old when we got married.
