Freedoms for corona vaccinated people: contacts, exit restrictions, quarantine

A regulation has been in effect since last Sunday that lifts a number of restrictions for vaccinated people and those recovered from corona infection.

You can meet other people again without restriction and no longer have to observe night exit restrictions.

Traveling has also become easier for these groups of people.

The quarantine obligation when returning to Germany only applies to them if they come from an area with new virus variants.

There are currently only eleven countries outside of Europe.

They are also largely exempt from the obligation to test when entering Germany.

According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Friday, around 8.8 million people (10.6 percent) have been completely vaccinated.

Around 29.9 million people received a primary vaccination (35.9 percent).
