The statement Palmer was "racist and repulsive," so Baerbock.
"And appealing to irony retrospectively does not undo it." The state association of Greens in Baden-Württemberg decided last Saturday to initiate a party expulsion process against Palmer.
In addition, the green candidate for chancellor spoke about climate policy. Baerbock wants to make air travel more expensive in the future and abolish short-haul flights. “I don't think it's fair that all of our tax money is used to subsidize kerosene, while long-distance train journeys are expensive, especially at peak times.
