The parliamentary group of the Greens in the district council intervenes in the debate about the future of the Wolfratshauser Kreisklinik.

The mandate holders have formulated an application.

Wolfratshausen - For the meetings of the district committee on this Monday (2 p.m., Bad Tölz district office) and the district council next Thursday (2 p.m., multi-gym school center in Geretsried), the elected representatives have formulated an application.

With one exception, all members of the group support the motion.

As reported, the district councils are called upon to pass a resolution on the "provision and safeguarding of comprehensive health care in the district".

It is also about the district clinic.

"We want to look for a strategic partner with the clear goal of making the Wolfratshausen clinic robust and storm-proof," said District Administrator Josef Niedermaier during a visit to the editorial office last week.

In short, it is, among other things, that the committee gives District Administrator Niedermaier the political mandate to enter into talks.

The Greens group does not seem to be satisfied with the proposed decision.

The elected officials have formulated their own draft.

"We want to ensure the continued existence of the district hospital in Wolfratshausen," explains District Councilor Hans Urban on his website.

"For this purpose, permanent partnerships should be entered into." The "already successful cooperation" with the Starnberg Clinic in obstetrics serves as a model.

“For us there is no question that the clinic must continue to exist as a municipal hospital.

We want to avoid a competitive situation with the Asklepios Clinic in Bad Tölz. ”From the perspective of the Greens, both clinics in the district must therefore ensure that in-patient health care is coordinated.
