First, that hysteria and the denial of reality are deadly poisons for our democracy. The first forum only pointed out what millions of French people experience every day: the disintegration of society, the rise of communitarianism, violence, hatred and that to continue sliding down this slope, there would be a risk that all this will one day end in civil war. Because it was signed by old generals, it provoked the outcry of those who in order to exist need to see everywhere the shadow of the extreme right, of fascism and of the putsch. But refusing to face this hatred and this violence which has been rising inexorably for years and which is overflowing is much more dangerous for civil peace.
