The Islamic State (IS) group claimed responsibility for the bombing that killed at least 12 people on Friday (May 14) in a mosque on the outskirts of Kabul, said the US agency SITE, which specializes in monitoring activity in line of jihadist groups.

On May 8, more than 50 people were killed and a hundred others injured in a Shiite district of the capital by the explosion of bombs placed in front of a girls' school.

It was the deadliest attack in a year.

The authorities had accused the Taliban but they denied having been the perpetrators.
