A 30-year-old policeman
was shot dead this Sunday
during an operation to defuse a clandestine party in Mar del Plata and a suspect was arrested for the crime.
According to police and judicial sources,
the incident occurred during the early hours of the morning, around 4 o'clock,
at a home in the south of the city and the victim was identified as Officer Diego Rosales, who was serving at the 5th Police Station.

The officers chased the attackers to another property on Calle Pesquero Quovadis at 3700 and noticed that one of them carried a firearm on his waist and tried to arrest him.

and entered the home with other young people.
From there, it is believed that the owner of the house fired at least one shot that hit Rosales, who was transferred to the Private Community Hospital but died on the way.
A detainee charged with "aggravated homicide"
The alleged perpetrator of the shot was identified as Héctor Amílcar Morán (69), who was apprehended at the scene, where a Gesichert 9-millimeter pistol was later seized.
The spokesmen consulted added that in the procedure one of the officers also fired a shot "with his regulation weapon without consequences."
"A shotgun shot with anti-riot ammunition was also fired on a wall inside the house," said an investigation, which detailed that there were "about 18 people" present at the scene.

Prosecutor Carlos Russo, of the Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Court, also intervened, which initiated proceedings for violation of the domicile of punishable young people and ordered the restitution of those not punishable to their parents.
