The President of the Landtag, Ilse Aigner, will soon receive mail.

Lots of mail.

Theoretically 1000 postcards from Allershausen are possible.

And they all have a heart on the front.

Allershausen

- “We would like to see more trust, respect and confidence in this country again. We want more heart for. . . “This is preprinted on the postcards initiated by the child care working group of the Allershausen community. Just like the receiving address: Ilse Aigner, Bavarian State Parliament. Bianca Kellner-Zotz, CSU councilor in Allershausen and chairwoman of the childcare working group, explains what this is all about: “We would like to see more heart in politics and our society at this time.” Because: “The corona measures generated a lot of distrust. It is time to approach each other and tackle things together. ”According to Kellner-Zotz, the initiators have not lost their belief in mutual respect, empathy and open cooperation. And because one firmly believesThe postcard campaign has now been launched so that many other people from Allershausen feel the same way. In addition to the working group, other committed citizens and medium-sized companies in the municipality are behind the whole thing.

And, as the AK spokeswoman explains, they noticed an increasing resignation among the population.

"A lot of negative energy has built up" - and it affects children and young people in particular.

The specific wishes: “More heart for children who are not allowed to play with each other.

More heart for the students who have not had regular classes for six months.

More heart for the young people who cannot find an apprenticeship position. "

"The pandemic has mercilessly exposed what has been slept through."

But the “More heart for. . . ”Should not be restricted to children and young people. All social groups would deserve everyone's respect. There are educators who want to provide closeness despite the hygiene requirements. There are teachers who are supposed to adhere to curricula at a distance - and who deserve the highest respect for this. There are retailers, landlords and medium-sized companies who fear for their existence, artists who are not allowed to perform, senior citizens who suffer from loneliness. The initiators of the campaign are also thinking of sales staff who have to work with masks all day, of hospital and nursing staff who have been suffering from working conditions for years. "But we also want more hearts for the believers who do not dare to go to church, for all those who work, who are heavily stressed or are afraid of losing their job. "

Many people are at the end of their tether

In summary, Bianca Kellner-Zotz and her colleagues would like to sensitize people to the fact that the pandemic ensures "that people are at the end of their tether - regardless of whether they are rich or poor, young or old, healthy or sick".

Nobody should be forgotten.

"Everyone has to suffer from this pandemic, everyone is massively affected by it." The postcard campaign gives everyone the opportunity to express their heart's desire and to fight against resignation.

The whole thing is connected with very specific wishes and demands on politics: In summary, the initiators of the campaign want more investments, "which give us scope so that freedom and basic rights are preserved in future crises".

Bianca Kellner-Zotz emphasizes: “The pandemic has mercilessly uncovered what was missed.” And she lists what is currently lacking: “We need more nurses, more doctors, more educators and teachers.

We need support programs to make up for what has been missed, larger classrooms and smaller classes, more school buses. ”And above all, better-paid professionals are needed to create an incentive to bring those who have already thrown in the towel back to work.

Investing for Prosperity and Peace

"These are all investments that ensure prosperity and social peace." For Bianca Kellner-Zotz, the whole thing is also a heart project because she is afraid "that a lot will be overslept again." fall short.

“We have to use the time now to see where improvements need to be made.” Because in the end nobody knows whether schools and care facilities will have to close again in the fall.

"We have to be prepared."

And what should be at the end of the campaign?

"It would be ideal for many cards to arrive in the state parliament, Ilse Aigner to present it and for MPs to come to us to see what problems the people at the grassroots are struggling with."
