Russian journalist Roman Perevizentsev confirmed that countries wishing to restore security and stability to Syria and initiate the process of reconstruction in Syria support the presidential election, which is taking place on a pluralistic basis, and highly evaluate the efforts of their government to organize and conduct them on their constitutional date.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent in Moscow, Perevizentsev explained that the countries that criticize the holding of the presidential elections in Syria are basically not wanting to settle in it and present their negative self-position regarding the choice of the Syrian people that will decide who will lead their country in the coming years, and this will determine the path that Syria will follow and the return of Syrian refugees To their country and to work for the country's progress and prosperity.
Perevizentsev pointed out that these elections are taking place in difficult circumstances, as the Syrian people continue their war against terrorism at a time when they are still suffering from the continuation of the siege and the coercive unilateral Western economic measures imposed on them.
