- The Bad Wiessee police
caught
a "big fish" on Friday.
At around 12 noon, the officers on Münchner Strasse checked a Jaguar from Erlangen.
First of all, the patrol found that the car had not been insured since autumn 2020 and was therefore recorded in the wanted list.
A closer inspection also revealed that not only the Jaguar, but also the 47-year-old driver was on the wanted list.
The man was wanted on an arrest warrant for failing to pay a fine.
However, the 47-year-old was able to do this on site, so that he was spared admission to the correctional facility.
According to the police, the man had to start his way home to Middle Franconia by train.
He is also facing criminal proceedings for violating the compulsory insurance law.
