The incumbent corporation of Bauhinia Garden posted a notice yesterday. The content refers to the owners’ meeting originally scheduled to be held today. Based on the fact that some owners obstructed the members of the corporation from opening the authorization ticket collection box last Friday (14th), they requested verification of each authorization ticket. The procedure could not be fully verified. After consulting legal opinions, it was decided to cancel the owners' meeting held at Suntech Community Hall at 2:30 pm today. The police sent more than 20 blue hats to the scene to guard
Sai Kung District Councillor Xie Zhengfeng and members of the Bauhinia Garden Concern Group held a meeting today as usual outside the Shangde Community Hall near Shanglian Building. The police first questioned Xie Zhengfeng and searched his body. During the meeting, they broadcasted that according to Hong Kong law, everyone had violated the four-person street gathering order and requested to leave as soon as possible. They also gave a verbal warning to Xie and others. The meeting was forced to be cut.

Xie and members of the concern group then moved to the area of Bauhinia Garden Park to open a microphone. They said that they could only speak briefly because of the police detention. After collecting the owner’s consent and authorization letter, they filed with the Lands Tribunal for an order to be issued as scheduled. A general meeting of owners was held, during which a lawyer provided legal advice. The meeting lasted for about ten minutes and then quickly adjourned.
