Maohan also pointed out that all donations and materials will be directly delivered to the Sikh Temple in India, so that they can be distributed to those who need help most. He also requested the central government to open some flights to India to deliver medical supplies.

The current target fund-raising amount is HK$3 million. Mao Han said: “Many people go to the hospital without oxygen, and Sikh temples are available in every city. They will use the materials for the poorest people. The more donations, the more you can do. Save more lives."

Zhong Guobin's appeal: how much help

Zhong Guobin, the leader of the Liberal Party, said that he has contacted people from all walks of life. At this stage, he has received a donation of 200,000 Hong Kong dollars from Lu Yongyi of the Safety Warehouse Co., Ltd. and 6,000 reusable masks.

Zhong Guobin said that the Indians have come to Hong Kong for more than a century and have integrated into Hong Kong society. They are also members of Hong Kong and hope that Hong Kong people can lend a hand.

He appealed: "India is severely affected by the epidemic and has a large population. Although it may not be very useful, based on humanity and empathy, I hope everyone can help."
