A group of 40 members of the Bolivarian National Guard took the headquarters of the newspaper El Nacional and evicted the personnel.
The embargo occurred a month after the Venezuelan Supreme Court of Justice issued a ruling that obliges the newspaper to pay the equivalent of more than 13 and a half million dollars to Congressman Diosdado Cabello as compensation for a lawsuit for non-pecuniary damage.
