The 21-year-old driver of a VW Polo from Munich came off the road to the right between the roundabout in Hauserdörfl and Marienstein (municipality of Waakirchen) for reasons that were still unexplained and collided with a tree there.

As a result, the car rolled over and came to rest on the roof.

The driver and his three passengers - two women and a man from the Munich area - were very lucky.

According to the police, they got away with minor injuries.

They were taken to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Total write-offs of around 5,000 euros occurred on the VW Polo.

In addition to the police and the rescue service, the fire brigades from Waakirchen and Schaftlach were also on duty.
