During the march on October 1, 2019, many pan-democrats including Li Zhiying, He Junren, Wu Wenyuan, etc. were accused of organizing and participating in an unauthorized assembly. The case was originally scheduled to start today (17th).
One of the defendants in this case, Chen Haohuan, revealed before entering the court this morning that some of the defendants would plead guilty. He still appealed to the people of Hong Kong to speak out, and He Chunren said he would not regret and hesitate.
All 10 defendants in the case pleaded guilty of organizing an assembly without approval.
The prosecution will read out the summary of the case in the afternoon, and the defendant will still be released on bail for the time being.
10 defendants: Chen Haohuan, Li Zhuoren, Liang Guoxiong, He Junren, Yang Sen, He Xiulan, Wu Wenyuan, Li Zhiying, Shan Zhongkai and Cai Yaochang.

Chen Haohuan, He Junren, Cai Yaochang, and Yang Sen met with the media before entering the court.
Chen Haohuan revealed that some of the defendants would plead guilty, but still urged Hong Kong people not to give up democracy and freedom. No matter on 6.4, 7.1 or other days, they must speak out.
Yang Sen also called on the people of Hong Kong to "stand hard."

He Junren pointed out that since mid-August, the police no longer issued notices of no objection to rallies and demonstrations. However, the citizens had a strong demand to speak up, and the rallies finally proceeded peacefully, orderly and rationally.
