Chen Haohuan, He Junren, Cai Yaochang, and Yang Sen met with the media before entering the court.

Chen Haohuan revealed that some of the defendants would plead guilty, but still urged Hong Kong people not to give up democracy and freedom. No matter on 6.4, 7.1 or other days, they must speak out.

Yang Sen also called on the people of Hong Kong to "stand hard."

He Junren pointed out that since mid-August, the police no longer issued notices of no objection to rallies and demonstrations. However, the citizens had a strong demand to speak up, and the rallies finally proceeded peacefully, orderly and rationally.

He Zhizhi pointed out that the government settled their accounts and imprisoned them in jail in an attempt to silence the citizens. Even if they would lose their freedom, they would not regret it or hesitate to hesitate.

Cai Yaochang expresses his feelings in 16 words: "Neither humble nor overbearing, face it calmly, never change the original intention, and endure the faith."
